SHIPPING & DELIVERY POLICY
At August Online, your luxury experience starts at purchase. Based in New Plymouth, we quickly dispatch fully tracked couriers across New Zealand and Australia, with premium packaging and a risk-free home fitting option.
1. New Zealand Delivery
All New Zealand orders are sent via NZ Post Courier with tracking.
- Orders $200 NZD or more: Free Shipping.
- Orders Under $200 NZD: Urban and Rural Flat fees $10-$15
- Delivery: 1–3 business days, overnight for North Island.
📦 The Try-at-Home Integration (NZ)
Tucked safely inside every single New Zealand parcel is a complimentary, prepaid, tracked courier return bag. If your item doesn't fit or look exactly how you envisioned, you have 3 days from tracking delivery to email us and initiate a return, completely hassle-free.
2. Australian Delivery
We offer an international courier service to all of Australia.
- Orders $200 NZD or more: Free Shipping.
- Orders Under $200 NZD: A flat rate of $26.99 NZD applies at checkout.
- Delivery: 10-15 business days via tracked courier.
✈️ The Try-at-Home Integration (AUS)
Australian clients can enjoy our 3-day Home Fitting Trial. To return an item, contact us within 48 hours for a Return Label. A $25 NZD return fee is deducted from your refund.
Note: Any local Australian customs duties, import taxes, or fees upon arrival must be paid by the buyer. These are non-refundable.
3. Dispatch & Processing Timelines
- Orders before 2:00 PM (NZST) Mon–Fri are processed the same day.
- Orders after 2:00 PM Fri or on weekends are dispatched Monday morning.
- Tracking Your Archive: The moment your parcel is scanned out by our courier partners, an automated email will be sent to your inbox containing your tracking link so you can follow its journey in real time.
4. Uncollected Parcels & Delivery Redirection
Once a parcel leaves our New Plymouth headquarters, it is under the care of NZ Post or DHL. If a parcel is returned to us because of an incorrect address provided at checkout, or because it was left uncollected at a local post depot past the courier’s holding window, a $15.00 NZD re-delivery fee will apply to re-ship the item back out to you.
